Design Principal
Blaise studied horticulture at Algonquin College and Olds College and holds Certified Landscape Designer and Fusion Landscape Professional credentials. His experience spans technical landscape design and construction, bringing site conditions, budget and construction requirements into one practical plan.
Junior Designer
Matthew combines a lifelong interest in gardening with business and horticultural training. Before joining the studio, he studied commerce at Queen’s University, worked in management consulting and completed the Horticultural Industries program at Algonquin College.

The Studio
Blaise Mombourquette is a Certified Landscape Designer, Fusion Landscape Professional and horticulturist by training. His work begins with how the property needs to function, then shapes the materials, planting and views around it.
Borealis was formerly known as Rosetta Landscape Design and continues the same measured, collaborative approach.
How We Work
We listen to how you want to live outside, study what the property can support and develop the plan around those priorities.
Beauty, function and budget are considered together so the design can guide real decisions and construction.
What Grounds the Work
The 2D plan gives clients and installers one accurate working document.
Optional 3D renders and walkthroughs help you understand the space before it is built.
